if you are on Facebook i’m pretty sure you to have been inundated with all of the year in review posts. instead of looking back i want to look forward. i want to look forward to being stronger, being healthier more both physically and mentally. i have been struggling with managing my stress level. working from home does not afford me that 25 - 30 minute morning and evening commute where i would be able to decompress from my day. it has been impacting my relationships with my husband and my friends meaning i close my laptop and then try to hide from the world until the following morning. clearly, that isn’t the healthiest. running typically is my outlet, again - working from home, it was an ordeal to get up, get dressed, get in my car and then go to the gym, run for 45 minutes or so and then head back to shower and get my day going. i’m not a morning person, really i’m not. my body is trained to get up on saturday’s for FFRC, but its the worst trying to get up the other six days of the week. so i decided to really do some research on getting a treadmill for the house. i settled on a nordic track commercial 1750, it should arrive in like 2 weeks. it will be going into the basement. i’m excited. i’m excited to be able to run when i want to without all of the jacking around to get to the gym. so yeah, i did a thing today… looking forward to 2020 and building in more consistency to my routine.
see you on the road.
